For more than a decade, our team has been specializing in audio, lighting, video, staging, and backline for an array of live events. Whether it’s a concert for thousands, a corporate event, or an intimate gathering, our team will make you look and sound amazing. We invite you to see and hear the difference.
Started in 2009 by Stephen and Carrie Ridgway, Kaleidoscope Productions was the culmination of years of experience in theater, technical production, and large events. In the early days, there were a lot of small gigs utilizing the four powered speakers that made up the bulk of the inventory. Those gigs helped to form the foundation of the company with a strong focus on great quality equipment and amazing customer service. Almost 15 years later, those two things are still the driving force behind our growth and ongoing success.
In 2015, Kaleidoscope Productions really started to grow with the addition of a lot of new gear. A transformational moment happened with the delivery of the JBL VTX V series line array. Kaleidoscope Productions was the first company in Colorado to have a V series rig, and it opened up a lot of new opportunities throughout the region. Investments in lighting and backline, and eventually the addition of video walls in 2018 meant that Kaleidoscope Productions could be a legitimate turn key event solution in the region.
In recent years, Kaleidoscope Productions has expanded in almost every way possible. We have worked to grow our list of equipment and are always working to provide the latest technology and gear to our clients. Building on relationship with JBL and Martin Lighting, VTX A8’S, Mac Era 300’s, and Aura XB’s were all added to the inventory in 2019. Then there was covid, which was challenging to say the least. We were fortunate to get through this tough time with the support of our long time clients, a little bit patience, and the vision of even better things ahead.
2022 was the year of the video wall. Our inventory of panels got a major upgrade to the Blizzard Icon series, and more than doubled in total panel count. In addition to the video wall panels, we have invested heavily in new cameras, switching, and processing. Our mission is to provide fully integrated services that include sound, lighting, video, backline and staging. Buying the newest, top of the line gear is at the center of that goal.
More equipment means more talented people to operate it, and since the pandemic we have worked hard to increase our staff. We are deeply focused on finding the best and brightest talents in our industry, and we are extremely proud of the work that our crew does. With a larger team and extensive equipment list, we have been able to expand where we work as well. Whether it’s a challenging event in a Colorado resort town, a corporate meeting on the coast of California, or a party at a secluded private ranch in Wyoming, we can handle it all.
