Our Director of Operations, Jacob Keener, manages the production and technical infrastructure around Kaleidoscope Productions’ events. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas, Jacob earned his Bachelor of Music as a drummer & percussionist in 2016 where he grew an appreciation for the performing arts.
Following his education at UNT, he went on to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts in Recording Arts and Technologies at Middle Tennessee State University outside of Nashville, Tennessee. While in Nashville, Jacob began producing his own live music events to help promote emerging songwriters gain public exposure and experience in a professional environment. This led to his collaboration with artists who had worked with the likes of Rascal Flatts, Keb’ Mo’, Kirk Whalum, and Snarky Puppy. Upon graduating from the MFA program in 2019, Jacob was awarded the Outstanding MFA Student of the Year by the College of Media & Entertainment.
Since his involvement began at Kaleidoscope Productions, Jacob has been able to stay involved in producing events and collaborating with artists outside Nashville, while also helping Kaleidoscope elevate its production quality. His passion for music and creative drive help to well-round his ability to manage the production of impactful and innovative experiences for the company & clients. In his free time, Jacob enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, and going on adventures with his dog.
